It is normal to need support, which friends and family often provide. However, when you speak with someone who is trained and non biased, and is there for you in an unconditional manner, often it is easier to be fully open with your feelings and concerns.

Hypnotherapy can help you come to terms with fear and anxiety, as well as numerous other problems or issues. Hypnosis works with desire. The stronger your desire the better hypnosis works.

Understanding Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is one of the most fascinating psychotherapeutic tools available in modern counselling. Some of the most innovative psychologists and psychotherapists including Freud, and Milton Erickson have used hypnosis as a therapeutic tool.

I became interested in hypnosis after experiencing it directly myself. My experience was incredible and I was immediately hooked. I knew with that single experience that this was a method of therapy that I wanted to provide to my clients.

Hypnosis never gets old for me. After 15 years of providing hypnotherapy, as one of my services I continue to be amazed at its applications and continue to further my education in the hypnotherapy field.

My hypnotherapy services are voluntary. You have no obligation to use hypnosis as part of your counselling.

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

The only key factor to understand is that hypnosis is a highly relaxed state and hypnosis works with your desire to change, evolve, and grow.

It is commonly understood that the more relaxed we are the better we learn and the more open we are to new ways of thinking. Hypnosis has an incredible way of speeding up and adding to our ability to change the way we think.

In the hypnotic state, the mind has to deal less with its resistance to change. Ultimately there is nothing that hypnosis cannot help with. No matter what your goals are, hypnosis as part of your therapy protocol can help.

What Hypnosis Is Not

Hypnosis is NOT mind control. (Only you control your mind!)
Hypnosis cannot make you want to quit smoking, drinking or anything else. (but it can increase the power of the existing desire you have for a change)
Clinical hypnosis IS NOT stage hypnosis. (no barking like dogs, or clucking like chickens)
You cannot get stuck in hypnosis, just like you can’t get stuck in sleep. You are the one that decides to go into hypnosis or not.
